Croydon council is proposing a 1% rise in business tax, in their efforts to plug their deficits and raise £5M.
The council claims that the money will be "ring fenced", and that it will be used to improve the Borough.
Sorry guys, given your lamentable record regarding the decline and decay of Croydon and your failure to manage your own budgets effectively; I find this rather hard to believe.
